OMEN by HP 875-1000 Obelisk Desktop PC (3VH40AV)

Здравствуйте, как управлять вентиляторами на ПК OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-1xxx и OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0xxx?

Как это сделать через биос или через программу?

Hello, how to control fan speed on Omen by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-1xxx and 875-0xx ‎

The motherboard automatically changes the speed of the fan, depending on the internal temperatures of the processor and the motherboard.

Why would you want to manually control it?

Under load, the CPU temperature is 80-85 degrees, the GPU is 78-83 degrees, the fan speed does not rise and does not cool the CPU and GPU. Sometimes, in idle time, the fans turn to the maximum, although the load is 10% CPU and GPU and the temperature is 40-45% I want to adjust the temperature threshold at which the fan speed will increase and maintain the temperature around 68-71 degrees and CPU and GPU. I'm afraid for the components, they are not cheap now.

@f13as -- Sometimes, in idle time, the fans turn to the maximum

Microsoft Windows will try to exploit "idle" time to run some "background" tasks, such as "Disk Optimizer/Defragmenter" or Windows Update, or update the "search index" (for faster searching), or to do a virus-scan.   If you touch any key on the keyboard, or move the mouse, do these "background" tasks stop running, causing the fan to slow down?

is this [approximately] your computer: OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0029,2 TB HDD, 256 GB SSD, Intel® UHD Graphics 630, Intel® Core™ i7-8...

Through the transparent side-panel, I see that there is a "case fan" on the back of the computer's case.

Is that fan working correctly?

Is its speed controlled by the motherboard, or does it always spin at a constant rate?

Can you find a fan that spins faster, to move more warm air each minute?

Is the back of the computer's case located close to a wall, or near the back of a desk?

Being in that location, the flow from that fan would be diminished, and the warm air would not be dispersed as quickly.

Is the computer sitting on a hard surface, or on a soft cloth?

Remove any cloth would limit the intake of room-temperature air into the inside of the computer's case.

A clean operating system was installed, resource monitoring was opened, nothing loaded the CPU and GPU. I want to adjust the speed and temperature thresholds for triggering myself. How to do it?

Enter BIOS SETUP, and look for any menu where the values can be changed.  Maybe, it will be possible.

I am surprised that your "water cooling" system is not working to limit the temperature.

i control the gtx2080 super with msi after burner and the cpu always runs 10 to 20c hotter than the gpu.

it would be nice to be able to ramp the cpu speed up with the gpu.

at idle the gpu is in the 40c range and the cpu is in the 60c range.

the cpu is water cooled and should be able to be in the 30c range at idle. and 60c to 70c range under load.

the cpu fan runs to slow to keep it cool at load.

Unfortunately HP does not let the end-user control their manual fan curves in MOST Desktop PCs.
Apparently there are customizable fan curves in the Omen laptops, but not in every desktop.

If you would like Manual Customizable Fan Curves added to the BIOS (in future devices I fear), please add a +1 here:
