OMEN Desktop 880-139nx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am interested to by the OMEN Desktop 880-139nx and my question is that:

Is the 500W internal power supply will be enough to operate the whole system including the RTX2070 graphics card smoothly? Or do I need to upgrade the system with a more powerful power supply such as a 650W or 750W power supply. Thank u in advance.

Why would HP sell a computer if the power supply wasn't powerful enough to run it? 😯

Of course you don't need to upgrade the PSU. Only if you decided to install a more powerful card that required more wattage, would you upgrade the PSU. 😉

And you would be under a 1 year warranty if anything was wrong.

Thank u very much for your prompt and fruitful reply Photoray002.

I read a in Nvidia website: https://www.nvidia.com/en-me/geforce/graphics-cards/rtx-2070/

that the Recommended System Power would be 550 W, and this made me confused. Anyhow, your answer has encouraged me to purchase the system. Thank you once again.

Ya that can be confusing. The video cards used in an HP are specifically designed to HP's specs. They are setup to run on the power supply it comes with. No need to upgrade.
