OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0034
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello All, just hoping to see if anyone can help me diagnose this issue or see if there is some way of me fixing it myself, i have an HP OMEN Obelisk 875-0034, and it showed a 502 CMOS/BIOS error, and after following the instructions on the support website it said to install a new BIOS for it, and i tried to do that and it continues to boot loop into the automatic repair screen, and won’t let me do anything else, all other attempts to fix this including factory resetting the computer have led to it simply trying to do the automatic repair and then going to the troubleshooting screen, if anyone can help me at least understand what is going on that would be very much appreciated, as i am not very tech savvy when it comes to computers

Greetings @dmogg46

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Have you carefully read and tried all BIOS recovery steps at this HP Site?

General BIOS recovery steps are:

1. Reset the embedded controller.

2. Reset CMOS. I normally remove the CR2032 MB battery. Let the PC sit for about 5 minutes. Reinstall the MB battery.

3. Then try recovering the BIOS using a HP USB BIOS Recovery drive.

A local PC Tech might be able to program the BIOS for you if none of the above BIOS recovery options fix the problem.

Regards
