Greetings @jimrundle1969

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You can do some component upgrades to the 880-026na.

It's very difficult to check your PC's MB specs using HP Support at this time. I did find this third party Site listing general specs for your HP PC.

It is not possible to give granular component upgrade options on some components without HP's assistance.

- The i7-7700 may be maxed out. Maybe a 7700K CPU upgrade is possible? You may need a CPU cooler upgrade if the 7700K works.

- Your PC shipped with 2 DDR4 memory modules x 8GBs of memory per each memory module totaling 16 GBs. I don't know how many memory slots are on the MB. I also don't know the maximum memory capacity per memory module.

- The HP 500 watt power supply installed in your PC's case should be ATX. So, you can install a higher wattage retail power supply in this PC. The new power supply's dimensions would have to match the HP power supply dimensions.

- Your PC has an Nvidia GTX 1080. You can upgrade the 1080 to a newer generation graphics card. The new component would have to have similar dimensions to the 1080.

I can't provide greater component upgrade detail without HP product specification information.

Regards
