HP OMEN
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi guys! Im thinking of buying a new Graphics Card, but i dont know what suits my HP Omen 880 desktop, For example i saw this online > Zotac ZT-T16600D-10M. Graphics / Supplier Processor: NVIDIA, Graphics Processor: GeForce GTX 1660. Dedicated Graphics Memory: 6 GB, Graphics adapter memory type: GDDR5, Data Amplitude: 192 bits. DirectX version: 12.0, OpenGL version: 4.5. Interface type: PCI Express 3.0. Type of cooling: Active, Number of fans: 2 fan (e). This fit in my HP Omen 880 desktop? Thanks in advance!

It wouldn't matter which brand or version. Go with what you like or what has the best reviews.

All you need to really be concerned with is that the length will fit and you have an adequate power supply. Take a tape measure and measure the available space inside the case. I doubt any 1660ti would not fit, but you should be good with a 1070 also.

@Jingtai

You have a 880-137nl with a GTX 1060 already. Spending money on a GTX 1660 is not worth it. I would consider something for powerful, or stay with the 1060.

I would consider at least a GTX 1660ti and you wouldn't have to upgrade the PSU.

Or If you go more powerful (better) option, you would most likely have to upgrade the PSU also.

Hello
the pc is so well equipped with the indicated model of this motherboard
motherboard specifications, Tampa2
One can find a list of compatible cards, under conditions of the Power Supply
to check if sufficient, product page indicated:500 W internal power supply

You should know that all the models that we can find, will not necessarily work, in the best of cases it is necessary to test directly with a specialist

I'm sorry but this is rather misleading! Those models only came with one of those cards installed.

You are not limited by only the GTX 1000 series cards. A new RTX 2000 series will also work, just as even a previous generation or any new card on the market today. The Motherboards PCIe X16 slot is not limited to only one series.

The ONLY thing you have to make sure of is that the length will fit and you have an adequate power supply. If you changed to a card that requires more power, you would have to simply replace the PSU which is also possible.

If you were switching from Nvidia to AMD for example, you would want to uninstall the drivers first.

Yes
And you have to read the whole answer.
This is to answer the question of what is most certainly compatible!

And from the last link:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 FH (8 GB) !

And so, I did not say either that the model would not be compatible either!
But as many have several possible possibilities

@Prométhée

OK then and I realize you are having to translate from French to English and it can be misunderstood. But if you would have simply posted... "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 FH (8 GB)"  or the RTX 2000 series is compatible, it would be easier to understand for many than just posting a link and putting that old list up. 😉

Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

There are many possibilities indicated in the given links
so I can't have fun copying and pasting everything
And yes obliged to go through the google translation, we unfortunately deleted our forum
I had created this topic for example, with the help of users and my friend
