Adapter for USB 2.0 Header on Thimphu-K?

HP Recommended
HP Omen
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, So I recently did a case swap with the Thimphu-K.  I noticed a rather nefarious proprietary female USB 2.0 header that doesn't match what a normal female  9 pin  usb header configuration is. I am actually rather disappointed in the way HP went about making their motherboards. I will give them props for at least sticking to a universal mATX form factor which made it possible to switch out cases. I wouldn't be so annoyed if they could have at least provided expansion for fans in their case. The whole reason for the swap was because the poor airflow coupled with a single fan used for either exhaust or intake was the only thermal solution that this case has besides a few vents and a side slotted front panel.

Now onto my main question, this is just been quite frustrating. Does Hp or any third party sell a usb adapter to allocate for the proprietary USB 2.0 Headers that are on this motherboard? It seems that the normal usb male header plugs in and functions but i dont like the fact only 8 pins are plugged in and one 1 doesnt match.

Thank you in advance if you have any info!

-Aaron
