Omen 875-1022
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello - I have an Omen 875-1022 desktop bought late last year.  It came with a 1 TB SSD.  I want to add more internal hard drive space.  It has slots for one or two SATA drives and I believe it has a slot for a second SSD drive.

Is there room for a second SSD?  Is it as simple as plugging in?

For the HDDs, any idea if 3.5 or 2.5"?  Do I need to buy cables or anything.  Sorry for basic questions.

Thank you.

@tekega , welcome to the forum.

Q:  Is there room for a second SSD?

A:  Here is the Motherboard Specifications page:   https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/omen-by-hp-875-1000-obelisk-desktop-pc-series/25644598/model/28...

If you look at the section titled "Expansion slots" it shows the following:  Two M.2 socket 3, key M (one for SSD card PCIe x4)

You can find numerous guides online to help with the installation.

Q:  For the HDDs, any idea if 3.5 or 2.5"? Do I need to buy cables or anything.

A:  I believe that the HDD's will be 3.5".  This is standard for desktops.  You will need a SATA power and data cable.  You can check the power supply unit (PSU) to see if there is a spare power cable, but you will most likely have to buy the data cable.
