Will an Omen 880-160 except a Samsung 970 evo plus 1 TB NVMe SSD?

The  Samsung 970 EVO plus does work with the Samsung Data  Migration tool and the Samsung Magician software.

 

The compatible versions are available as downloads from the  Samsung Evo plus webpage at the link below.

Yes. It will.   It will accept and have support for M.2 PCIe NVMe and  SATA3 versions of the Samsung 970 Evo plus 1 TB NVMe SSD.

 

You did not mention which interface type the candidate upgrade SSD is.  Now would be a good time to do that.

The reason  i ask is some people have stated 512 GB M.2 PCle NVMe was the the max for the 880-160  ,have already purchased the Samsung 970 EVO plus 1TB NVME M.2 SSD.  Thanks for your assistants. Do you know if  Samsungs Magician Software and Data Migration tool work with this 970 Plus?
