Hey,
I have an HP omen 880-127ns, Tampa 2 motherboard.
I just bought an SSD (model CT1000MX500SSD4) and I would like to know.
1) Is it compatible?
2) Can I add the ssd to the M2 Socket Key M (the one adjacent to the RAM slots) or do I need to replace it into my existing 128gb M2?
Thank you in advance

You can use Crucial P1 or Samsung 970 EVO or look at Device Manager to see what is it now and buy same brand, same characteristics.

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05841845
It motherboard only has 1 M.2 slot for storage which is occupied by 128GB PCIe NVMe drive therefore you have to replace it with a bigger (capacity) SSD.
The CT1000MX500SSD4 is a SATA SSD, as you can see your machine uses NVMe SSD therefore it MAY work but slow.
