Basically, as advertised and asking raising multiple queries, I confirmed my Laptop is suppose to have 75W TGP, but after buying I only find it to have 50W TGP I am a bit confused and lost. I did update BIOS and all drivers are up to date as of writing this. PLS HELP!!!

@BeastArya,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

the TGP (Total Graphics Power) confusion is quite common with HP Victus / Pavilion / Omen gaming laptop users, especially when marketing materials sometimes cause misunderstandings.

The TGP is fixed by the laptop’s design, cooling solution, and power delivery. Even if the GPU model (such as an RTX 3050/3060/4050) is capable of running at a higher wattage, HP may configure it differently in each Victus/Pavilion/Omen model.

Updating BIOS and drivers won’t change the TGP limit -it’s locked at the hardware/firmware level.

To confirm your exact configuration, check your product number in msinfo32 or on the HP Support site, then compare with HP’s official specifications for your SKU.

If you purchased the laptop based on advertising that claimed 75-watt TGP, I recommend contacting your seller or HP Support India for clarification.

Kind Regards,
