Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

Can you recall the specific update which caused this problem?

 

Was the update from HP or Windows?

 

Check to see if you can access the BIOS as follows:

 

Start the PC.

 

Repeatedly Tap the "ESC" key.

 

Select "F10" to see if you can enter the BIOS.

 

Let the Forum know if you can load the BIOS Setup Utility.

 

I don't want to go down a faulty Windows update or a faulty HP update rabbit hole before determining the BIOS is functioning.
