Hello everyone,

i upgraded from a i5-12400f To a i9-12900f

now my ram which worked perfectly fine with my old cpu is now locked at 2400mhz

it is the same exact ram as the stock that came with the pc and is also rated the same however when logging into to bios its capped at 2400mhz

Is there anything i can do? Has someone had a similar issue and fixed it?

i have tried enabling xmp profiles 1 or 2 and i get the 3 long beeps and 2 short beep error and it will revert back to original 2400mhz

Any help is appreciated
