Hey, does anyone know if i am able to upgrade the motherboard in my pc? I want to upgrade my cpu and my motherboard doesnt support any of the new cpus. So would i be able to possibly upgrade the mb?

The HP 880-025se is circa 06/2017.  The max tested CPU was the I7-7700.  That is the end of testing.  HP moved on without further testing.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

You can, as long as you upgrade the CPU and possibly the memory.
