@Wavyhebry , welcome to the Community.
You should go to the "Motherboard Specifications" page and look at the section titled "Processor upgrade information". There will be a list of compatible processors that have been fully tested to be compatible with your motherboard. If a processor is not on the list it will most likely not work. I will be surprised if the ryzen 5 5800x3d is on the list.
