Hi

I get B90 ERROR message.

"The system has detected that a cooling fan is not operating correctly.
Continued operation is not recommended and may cause unpredictable behavior that could result in random shutdown, data loss or possible system damage. The system will shut down in 15 seconds. To prevent shutdown and continue operation, press the Enter key now.
System Fan (90b)"
 
I know why this error is displayed (I changed my fans and I no longer use the default connections)
my question is to know if it is possible to circumvent this error to avoid having it at each start?

I see you are experiencing cooling fan issues with the OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop PC gets 90B error when boot up. 

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 
  • Try doing Reset PC Keep my files and check if it works
  • If issue still persists then could be a hardware issue on the Fan.
