I got an update for my 1080 Ti this morning from NVIDIA that looked promising.  It is for a studio mode rather than a gaming mode.  Since I am a heavy data user and not a gamer this looked promising.

Shortly after installing the driver update my system went unstable and both screens (35") went blank.  It took some work but by disconnecting one monitor and doing a driver rollback through the device manager I was able to get back to a good spot.

The issue may be with G-SYNC and this new mode, but no word from NVIDIA yet.

Hello
normally it is necessary to modify an option, if one receives the drivers game ready, the updates must be of this same version

I had tried it once, I don't know if there was a difference!
Your problem may not be with the mode, but with the version
It would be necessary to test a previous version maybe

You must have Geforce experience that said for what I indicate

While certainly a version capability issue is possible, this popped up in my GEFORCE Experience window as a compatible set of drivers.  I decided that the differences were probably minor to the normal user and just went back to the game ready drivers for now.  Further down the road I may try them again.

One issue was that once installed the Studio Drivers would crash the screens just fast enough to keep you from making any changes.  It was only by disconnecting one monitor that I was able to do anything.

thanks for responding.
