Hi.
I have problems playing Call of duty Warzone. It tells me that my BIOS does not meet the security requirements.
I updated bios through HP PC Hardware Diagnotics.

TPM 2.0 is on and Secure boot is enabled in bios. Still cant play the game due to same prompt when i start it..
Why is that?

Greetings @Lagus

Welcome to the HP Forum.

This Forum is peppered with Call of Duty/TPM manufacturing version issues with HP PCs using AMD MBs.

I'm guessing your PC has an AMD MB since you are having a TPM/Gaming problem.

Enter tpm.msc in Windows Search. Your PC is probably using TPM 2.0 version 3.94.0.5. Your PC needs TPM 2.0 version 3.94.2.5 or higher to run Call of Duty.

Your PC would need a future BIOS update from HP.

Check this Forum Link for more information.

And this second Forum Link is when I first became aware of this problem.

Yes im using 3.94.0.5. What do you mean with "Future bios update"? There's no update for that yet or what?

The two Forum links provided in my previous response seem to suggest HP has not fixed the TPM 2.0 manufacturing version problem as of today.

So you will have to periodically check your PC's drivers download site for a newer BIOS update or wait for a future BIOS update from HP Support Assistant to fix the problem.

That's all I know, at this time, based upon what I have been seeing in this Forum.

I am having the same problem and it is so frustrating that I can not play the game because HP still have not updated BIOS, if you find a way to resolve the problem please share it

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I'm a volunteer community member.

This Forum is peppered with TPM 2.0 problem threads.

A Forum Community Admin has stated HP Engineers are now working on BIOS updates for all affected AMD MBs.

Sadly, this process will take a while.

You'll have to periodically check your PC's driver download site for a future BIOS update. Or wait for HPSA to push a BIOS update to your PC.

Hello @lagus ,

Did you resolve your problem and if so how did you resolve it?

This isn’t solved yet. I will never buy a hp MB again. It’s ridiculous that we’re not able to enjoy new games because of this. And STILL no solution or update from HP. Insane…

I will reply to your comment because I am in the same situation as you are with the TPM.

How is it possible that HP is not doing anything to solve this issue with their motherboards?

All games that use TPM 2.0 for anti-cheat cannot be played. I'm surprised to see that more affected customers aren't complaining, but we're talking about a problem on a PC that still sells for €1,000 today.

Hopefully someone at HP will take notice soon, but for now, we need to keep discussing the issue in forums so that people are aware of it and HP's practices with its products.
