Pavilion gaming desktop TG01-000x

Trying to solve numerous WerFault.exe errors. Updating drivers and bios. During bios update pc locked up. Power to unit - no usb or video connection.

Hi @Miller63 ,

 

Werfault.exe errors refer to the Windows Reporting Tool for operating system errors.

 

The bad BIOS update would not be related to this error.

 

Check this HP Support site (Link to site) for ways to recover the BIOS after a bad BIOS update.

 

You may have to contact HP Support (Link) if all BIOS recovery steps at the above site fail.

 

Sorry, to the best of my knowledge, not much else can be done if you cannot recover the BIOS. HP will flash the BIOS or replace the motherboard.
