Black screen with new Graphics card

Hi

Your PC shipped with a 460 watt power supply (PS). Some 560s require a 400 watt or greater PS. Some 560s require a 500 watt or greater PS.

I have done the following on occasion; make sure you are plugging the monitor cable into the 560 and not connecting to the the onboard graphics port.

Do the following prep work before you install the new graphics card:

Go into the BIOS.

Disable Secure Boot, enable Legacy Boot.

Exit and save changes.

Then enter the four character security code to verify the change at next boot.

Black screen with new Graphics card

Hi

You're welcome.

Sounds good.

The suggested fixes usually work.

It is also a good idea to uninstall the current graphics card drivers before installing the new graphics card.
