Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A4AV)

I have recently bought this HP victus laptop.

3 days back I opend the Omen gaming app, which is preinstalled in the laptop. It get updated. After updating the app, my laptop showing blue screen error as below:

Stop Code: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

What failed: HpReadHW Data.sys.

I had try to contact with HP customer care, but no response from there side. I have done all steps which were given on HP virtual support. But the issue is not resolved.

Please help me out.

Greetings @Saurabh_99

Welcome to the HP Forum.

It looks like the Omen Gaming App is causing a Windows startup problem. This outcome is very unusual.

Check this Site on how to get into Windows Safe mode when you can't run Windows. Follow steps within "How to Enter Safe Mode at Boot" at this site to load the Windows Recovery Environment.

Then scroll all the way down the document at this site for steps needed to run Windows in safe mode.

You can also create W11 USB installation media available at this Site. Boot to this media.

Select "Repair your computer". Then follow steps at the first site to boot to safe mode.

Uninstall the HP Omen Gaming App while in safe mode.

Again, it is very unusual to see an App cause this type of Windows startup problem. However, this App would have some low level system drivers so I guess anything is possible.

Let the Forum know if this fixes the problem.

Regards
