HP Omen 880-000na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The CD drive has not been reading disks correctily for a few weeks now and is giving no error messages.

I assume this is with any cd, not just one?

Sometimes the optical reader can get a tiny piece of lint or such on the lens. I would carefully blow it out to see if it clears up the issue.

If not, are you still under warranty? You can always contact HP Support for a hardware issue.

Hi, thank you for your reply.  Yes it does it on all CDs. 

 

I have now now managed to get my warranty updated after a dispute so I will give them a call.
