Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb3000 (A8RU1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. I have an HP Victus 15 with AMD Ryzen™ 5 8645HS and NVIDIA RTX 2050. The issue is that my CPU temperature reaches 100 degree celsius on 70+% of utilization whenever I play Valorant. My laptop is always lifted and has a good airflow, the room temperature is cold, and there is no another app running on the background while I play but the temperature still reaches that high.

Greetings @YeXiuu

Welcome to the HP Forum.

CPU temps at 100 Degrees Celsius is not good for the CPU.  TJMax for your PC's CPU is 100 Degrees Celsius.

You might want to clean the internals and replace the CPU thermal interface material to see if you can lower CPU temps.

You can also try a Power Saver plan in Power Options to see if this helps with CPU temps.

Regards
