If my current HP Desktop runs a Ryzen 3 5300g will I be able to upgrade to any of the Ryzen 5 5000 series?

Your AMD Ryzen 3 5300G (AMD Socket AM4) could theoretically be upgraded with, say, an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G: https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Zen/AMD-Ryzen%203%205300G.html.

 

However, that also depends on HP -that is, if they allowed this processor upgrade.

 

I would be able to tell you more about your processor upgrade chances if you provide your desktop model.
