Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, My pc’s cpu has been overheating lately and I removed the cooler and the cpu was bound to the cooler and the bar that is supposed to hold the cpu down was under no pressure what so ever. Is this normal or is something specific malfunctioning? My pc has been bluescreening a lot lately and I was wondering if this could be the source of the issue.

Can you please list the full specs of the PC, by this small image I can only speculate that it is maybe a Pavilion 690-0024, thank you.
