Trying to connect an HPw2007 monitor using a DVI cable and port. I already have an HPw2338h connected using the HDMI port and cable. I would like to have dual monitor display and extend my desktop to the 2nd monitor.
The HPw2007 monitor doesn't seem to work by itself to the desktop using the DVI cable/port. The only other option is VGA, which is not available on the graphics card. Trying to determine if the DVI port or cable is incompatible between the PC and monitor, or if it is not possible to connect 2 monitors.

I was able to solve my problem not sure what I did differently this time. Unplugged monitor power to get rid of orange light, connected DVI cable into HP w2007 monitor, plugged in power to monitor and HP w2007 monitor worked. Connected HDMI cable to port on desktop and HP w2338h monitor worked.
The HP w2007 monitor worked last time I had connected to a different desktop PC and the DVI cable pins were all good.
