Can I upgrade my HP Envy Desktop i7-7700 to a gtx 1080.

I have a new power supply that I will use to power to the card.  But will a GTX 1080 Card work in this new computer?

@Herby11

It would help if you tell us the full model or product number of your Envy.

i7 7700 is the cpu, not the model.

Open the HP Support Assistant and it will show you the product number.

Thanks.

The motherboard will take the 1080, but you will have to measure the length of space available inside.

Then look up the dimensions of what ever card you choose to see if it will fit.

Make sure the Power Supply has the proper connectors for the card and at least meets the minimal power req.
