I got a game that recommends NVIDIA RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700XT (minimum NVIDIA GTX 970/1650 or AMD Radeon R9 290X). I've never upgraded graphics before, so I hope someone out there with the same model desktop can let me know if the motherboard, power source & dimensions of the tower can handle one of these cards.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06701111
The NVIDIA RTX 2070 requires machines with 650W or greater PSU. The specs shows your machine only has 180 W Gold efficiency power supply therefore new card won''t run. You need heaps more of power for your machine
Regards.
