OMEN by HP 880-000 Desktop PC series

Hello everyone, first off, I'am sorry for my english, I may do some mistake, I'am french.

I have a simple question about the Omen 880-XXX series. Can you upgrade them ?

Until recently, I had a homemade desktop, but the motherboard died today. What am I asking is, if I buy a Omen 880 with, let say 8go of ram, can I upgrade it to 16go with my own RAM ?, Also can I add hard drive ? Maybe change the Graphic card later ?

Thanks !

Thank you for the additional information, @StalkerSoC.

Here is the Product Specifications page for the 880-007nf.  Your memory would not be compatible since it is DDR3 and the motherboard requires DDR4.

I doubt that you would want to upgrade the GTX 1070 anytime soon.  I have an Omen X with the GTX 1070 and it is extremely powerful.  I play all of my games, such as, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell "Blacklist:"  on the Ultra settings with no problems.

The 880 series should be very upgradeable.

@StalkerSoC, welcome to the forum.

Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer series.  You should choose the exact model that you want to buy and post it.  Also, give us the make/model of your memory and we will be able to tell you if it is compatible.  We will be able to answer the other questions when we have the model.

Let's say I choose the Omen by HP 880-007nf, with 8go of ram and a GTX 1070.

My RAM would be 4 Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 Go 1600 Mhz CAS 9, I already bought them not long ago.

Overall, appart from compatibility, can component be changed ?
