HP 8300
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, first time poster here.  I am currently looking at purchasing a HP Elite 8300 MT that is equiped with an i5-3570 processor, 8gb RAM, 1TB HDD, Windows 10, and a 320W PSU.  I understand that HP uses proprietary power supply's and I wont be able to upgrade it, so it is what it is.  I'm just wondering if this model will support a gtx 1050 ti graphics card.  The specs of the computer say that it has a 320W PSU and the card itself says it is 75W and recommends a 300W system, so I assume it will work.  However, before I buy the computer and the graphics card, I need to be assured that it will work.  I just need to know if the gtx 1050 ti will fit in this computer and work correctly.

Also, I know that I cannot upgrade the PSU, but will I be able to replace it if it breaks.  Like, will I be able to purchase the same exact PSU and just swap it out if something ends up breaking?

Thanks in advance

Hello @Aydenrv13

You should be able to use up to a GTX 1050ti as its only 75W. I have another user who installed a GTX 1050 in one and it works.

But YOU would need to measure the inside of the available space and compare it with the dimensions of what ever card you are looking to buy.

Also that PSU is proprietary, but it is available thru the HP parts store in the USA and on a few Google searches like Amazon and eBay at the moment.  Part number 613764-001.
