Pavilion 790-0077c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is an HP Desktop Pavilion Desktop 790-0077c.  I press the Escape key to get the Startup screen. The startup screen appears with several "F" keys that would access different screens F1,F2 F9,F10,ect.  None of the "F" keys do anything. The only key that works is the "Enter" key that continues with booting the computer. I've tried flashing the bios. I've tried pulling the bios battery. I've tried so many key combinations mentioned online than I can remember. I have not tried a different keyboard. I plan on buying another one tomorrow and see if that will work.  I noticed this issue when trying to access the bios  to set up a different boot drive. I'm pulling my hair out!!!

oops  It's amazing how many times in just typing out the problem the solution appears. I've got a new keyboard and a new feature "F lock" Guess what? Yep "F lock"  was enabled. Have a wonderful weekend!
