Product: OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0280z CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to switch to 'normal' F1-F12 key usage instead of the media shortcuts, without using the <fn> key.  But I see no fn-lock key.  I don't have the bios type show in some help messages to change 'Action Key Mode'.

 

This is not a notebook.  I have a OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0280z CTO, keyboard (tpc-p001k) that came with this system.  I'm looking for an alternative method to switch to 'standard' Fn key mapping.  Barring that, looking at option of using AutoHotkey program to remap F1-12 keys, but have only seen example of remapping F1-F5.  Haven't figured out F7-F12 replacements.

 

Any tips?

unfortunately the only possible solutions currently are software, or hardware replacement
There is a solution, but that is to block the key, and you may break the keyboard
Unfortunately either this is not suitable or user feedback
