Hello I'm looking for a bit of help I have this hp 690-0018 and it's been running real hot I have an old xblade case that has 3 extra fans but my power supply won't match the MB is there a power supply I can order that will work with this MB and I'll be able to swap everything over to this other case?

Any insight on this swap is useful thanks in advance

@Beegeezie , welcome to the Community.

 

The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  The most powerful PSU that HP sells is a 500W (L05757-800).  You can order on PartSurfer by selecting the box in the section "Add to Cart".

Ok so I'm looking at upgrading a motherboard and I'm trying to reuse as much as possible from my omen what information do I need to match a mother board to my processor?

You will have to assure that the motherboard supports AMD, AM4, processors.
