My computer is hp pavillion H8 1070t I just purchased Hp omen 32 display The problem I am having is what cord or connection do I need to purchase to connect the video display to the computer It appears none of the included cords are compatible to the connections on the computer and the video display

Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
Your PC has DVI-I and DVI-D out on the rear I/O panel.
You need an adapter to go from the monitor HDMI or Display Port in to the DVD out on the PC.
Amazon (Link) has options.
DVI does not support audio but it should provide video from the PC to the new Omen monitor.
