Recently been experiencing issues with this PC, where when put under even a moderate load the screen will go black, and fans will max Rev until I manually shut down the system with the power button. I ran an extensive test througj BIOS that has given me a memory failure code PLL3XD-ALEBNP-QF8V4J-40A603 on Memory module one. I have read on another board best way to troubleshoot this is to remove a ram module and run the test again for each individually to find the bad one and replace it, is this the best course of action? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi:
Yes, that is the best course of action if your PC has more than one memory chip, unless you are able to determine exactly what slot contains memory module 1.
The slot should be labeled on the motherboard DIMM 1, DIMM2, etc.
If you have more than one memory chip, remove the one most likely to be defective and put the other chip in its place.
Run the PC and if it doesn't crash or produce a memory failure code, then you found the problem chip and can replace it.
Here's a couple of related service videos for the model series:
Always shut down, unplug the PC and press the power button to drain any residual power before working inside your PC.
