Creating BIOS recovery on a flash drive.

Every time I go to create a BIOS recovery on a flash drive it locks my laptop up and I followed the instructions on HP website several times tried different BIOS updates and can never get it to work. I'm needing help with that 🙏

Sorry to see you're having a problem creating a HP USB BIOS recovery drive.

Can you successfully use different USB media with the questionable Laptop USB port without problems? 

Have you tried all USB ports and maybe try a different USB stick?

If possible, try to make the HP USB BIOS recovery drive on a different PC.
