Question: Do I have a hardware problem? A driver problem? Are there diagnostics I should run? Should I tweak fan settings to run faster using MSI Afterburner?

Details:

The machine was manufactured last year but it was bought less than a month ago. A couple of times before yesterday it suddenly shut down into hibernate mode in spite of hibernate being disabled. Yesterday the room temp was warm, 78F, and I got "Your battery is very low - plugin your PC now" messages. Last night it crashed. Note the computer is not being used for games but rather for Adobe software etc. The system crashed sometimes between midnight and 7am when we were asleep.

Misc background: The BIOS is up-to-date and all Microsoft patches have been installed. Fast HP diagnostics turned up no errors.

The event log in one of them was EventID 41 bugcheckcode 0. The internet had these debugging steps https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/kernel-power-event-id-41-bugcheckcode-0/ebf05b... and a friend said that "low power" alerts could be a sign of overheating so I installed HWMonitor to check ordinary temperature.

Running HWMonitor to check on temperature today everything looks OK
