I just bought an OMEN 30L gaming pc and am trying to hook up my monitors. The 30L has 1 HDMI port, 1 Display port and 1 DV-I port. I'm currently using the hdmi port and have my second monitor plugged into a hdmi to dvi adapter. It's picking up the monitor that is plugged into the dvi port, but not displaying anyting on it. I can move my mouse over to it and move windows over there as well. I've updated drivers, and pretty much everything that I could find on the internet and still no picture is displayed through the dvi port.
Any help would be appreciated, and I am very new to any of this sort of issue.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's update the BIOS: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629 and also the graphics driver: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
Let me know if this helps.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Thanks!
Have a great day!

I would hold off updating the bios just yet. Thats more of a last resort to me. If a bios update fails, it could be disastrous.
Zombie already updated the drivers.
Sounds more like the DVI adapter or cable you are using is the issue. Ive seen that happen lots of times.
If Windows is showing the second monitor as connected, can you change the resolution in Windows settings (or Nvidia control panel if you have an Nvidia card installed) to a lower setting? What happens?
If no results, can you try a different adapter and cable?
HDMI to DP adapter would be a better choice if you have to buy another adapter.
