Enquiries on getting a new PC case & Graphics Card

HP ENVY h8 PC Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Okay i've 2 questions

Firstly, I'd like to know if all my current PC components will fit and be compatible for my new PC case.

Current PC Components: https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c03639145

New PC Case: http://vi.vipr.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=232146295066&t=1504694429000&tid=10...

Secondly, I've bought a new Graphics Card. Will my current Motherboard still work with the Graphics Card? or do i have to get a new motherboard?

Current Motherboard: https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c03132942

Bought Graphics Card: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06X3RBJLW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And are there anymore stuffs that i should take note of? This is my first time upgrading my PC & getting a new pc case so any help would be really appreciated.

@SalvationX, welcome to the forum.

The motherboard is a uATX Form Factor.  The case specs state that it will handle: M/B Type: ATX, MicroATX, Mini-ITX.   So, your motherboard will work.  However, I have seen instances where there have been slight variances with connectors in the new cases.  You can see what happens.

The video card should work without any problems.  The only caveat that I would add is, I suggest upgrading the power supply unit (PSU), also.  It is only 300W and with the system that you are building it may be too weak.  I suggest at least 500W to give you some extra power for peak usage.  I like Corsair products.

Since this is your first attempt at basically building a computer, it would be a good idea to take a picture of the motherboard in the old case with all of the connections in place.  This will give you an idea of where cables should go.  I have found this very helpful.  I don't like having parts left over when I believe that I am done with the build. :TongueOut:

Thank you for answering my questions and offering suggestions, I've already bought an evga 750w power supply off amazon, I've a final question that you didn't manage to answer, Guess you might have mis-understood the statement.

You are very welcome, @SalvationX.

I don't believe that you will have any problem getting the current components into the new case.  As I said, the only problem that you may have would be with some of the connectors in the case.  This is because HP has their components made to their specs.

@ old_geekster

What are the chances of getting connectors problem and to what extend? Like connectors mismatch or etc? And if so, is there a way to get around it? Or do i have to buy some add ons to rectify and correct it?

This is difficult to answer.  It is difficult to know what connectors will be in the case.  Problems don't always arise, but I like to make members aware of the possibilities before they spend the money.

Is this the connector that we are talking about? and if so, now that we know the connector, will it work with my HP components?

This is a common connector.  The ones that normally cause problems are the front connectors in the case, such as, the power button.  I don't know of any others that will cause problems.
