Excessive cooling fan noise when computer is under load

Cooling fan noise is very excessive when the computer is under load, eg:  using flight simulator.  Bios updated.  Noisy enough to require headphones when using flight sim.  Stock unit.  No changes made.  Had only 2 weeks.

@bigmatt44 , welcome to the forum.

We could spend a lot of time and not solve your problem.  The symptoms that you are describing sound like a failed/failing fan.  Since the computer is new, I suggest that you contact the seller for help.  If you bought the computer from HP Store, you should contact HP Customer Support.  You don't need the frustration of trying this solution and that solution.  You want to enjoy your great new computer!! 😉
