I’m just wondering if there are cables to plug in with the external hard drive bays as the video does not mention if you either don’t need cables or if you do where they are.

@TooLuckyIf you are talking about the two HDD bays on the front that the slanted doors open up to, No you dont need to connect any wires. The bays are already wired. You just push your drive in until its seated on the connector. It will be reconizted in Windows on reboot.
