Hi @198621

I see 0839F.bin in your image. This does not look like the HP BIOS F.58 binary file.

Where did you get this BIOS update?

I can't help other than using this BIOS update if you have MB SSID 8433.

because I'm trying to downgrade the bios on an hp omen 900 201 pc, but I see that it's not possible

Thanks for posting the instruction on how to revert the BIOS!. The least thing HP could have done was to re-release the old BIOS so that it would be at least be possible to update the BIOS without the stupid rollback error message.

OMG, thank you, thank you, thank you. I knew the issue was bios but, until finding this thread, i couldn't figure out how to update it without Windows installed on the device.  Thanks to @Bill_To here  Re: Windows 11 Clean Install Hangs Up at "Just a Moment" - HP Support Community - 8692464

All I needed was to download the F.58 update and copy it to the Hirens Flash Drive and boot to the USB and run the update. Everything works now.

In case this helps anyone else, my steps, following the original post, were:

Step 1: as described

Step 2: not necessary with BIOS update and didn't do it

Step 3: Download F.58 from here: F.58 Update  and copied the sp145261.exe file to the USB

Step 4: As described

Step 5: Ran the SP EXE file to update the BIOS

Step 6: I reinstalled Windows from the Windows Bootable Media (USB).
