I dropped the tiny screw somewhere inside the tower when trying to replace the Intel Optane drive with a new Seagate Barracude m.2 SSD. I couldn't find the screw thread size anywhere online to replace the dropped screw. I'm hoping someone out there can provide me with the answer I seek. Thank you in advance.

hi

I strongly advise you to remove the cmos battery, unplug the power supply, and find this dropped screw
if not bad luck, it comes into contact, and makes a short circuit, it may burn out
even if it is at the bottom somewhere, it won't be for now, but imagine that you move the computer, and that it falls on the motherboard!

there is answer here, see if it' s ok
