@Rickferg

Under the Rules, article 4 section d, we are not allowed to assist you with that issue.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Hi @Rickferg  @wb2001
If it is the user password to open his profile
if you use the possible options, it is not outside the rules
Hp provides what is possible:

https://support.hp.com/ee-en/document/c03465856

So if nothing to do as indicated:

If you do not have a Microsoft connected account, there are no other accounts in Windows with administrator rights, and you do not have a password reset disk, try these other options:
  • Perform a reset to re-install Windows on your computer. Go to HP PCs - Resetting Your PC to Resolve Problems (Windows 😎 for more information.
  • You can perform an HP System Recovery to completely erase all files, including local account password information, and go back to the way the computer was when it was first purchased. For more information, see Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 😎.
  • Call local computer repair and service stores. Local stores might offer password recovery services for a fee.
  • If you are unable to locate a local service to recover your password, you can contact HP Smartfriend to help you recover or reset the password you use to sign in to Windows 8 (only available in the United States and Canada). For more information, see HP SmartFriend.
