I have an OMEN 880-199nl to which I changed the power supply (850watt) and graphics card RTX3070 and I added another 16gb of ram (so 32gb), but games like Fortnite perform poorly even with low settings, I know it is not my connectivity since I have a maximum ping of 10ms and a stable connection on 80mb

Hi,
You have very good components (9700K, 32 GB RAM, and a 3070).
Zero W11 drivers from HP. You must rely on W11 drivers. Did you update to the latest Nvidia drivers for the 3070?
How are component temps?
Try downloading the free version of 3DMark Basic at this (Link). Scroll down the web page for download locations
Install and run Time Spy. You can run the benchmark or stress test. I would run both to see what is happening.
See how things go.
Good results running 3DMark probably suggests you have a network problem.
Did this issue start after updating to W11?

Hi, thank you for replying.
I had fewer problems with windows 10 indeed, temps don't rise above 60°/70° celsius.
About benchmarks, I don't feel comfortable with downloading software from sites I don't know, so I didn't run it.

Hi,
@poorperformance, You're very welcome.
I use the above stress and benchmarking test available from that site on every PC I build to verify system stability. I also run: Intel Burn Test, Furmark, and Unigine's Heaven Benchmark.
The 3DMark benchmark will check the GPU. The stress test will stress the GPU and the CPU, check performance (FPS and dropped frames), and provide temp readings for the GPU and the CPU.
Regards.

Hello
did you keep the original graphics card?
you shouldn't need to download a software battery
The system requirements should be
Video Memory: 4 GB VRAM or higher
Hard Drive: NVMe Solid State Drive
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
your computer should run this game very easily, even with the stock graphics card
perform the latest graphics driver update as instructed last one 497.29
if not better, remove the added memory
if you still have the original graphics card try, if nothing better

Downloading software benchmark and stress tests works for me.
I build desktop PCs. I like to give customers stable systems. So I use system stability tests to ensure the customer receives a quality product.
I also provide a warranty and support.

@Grzwacz yes , but component stress, can be a risk if the hardware has a problem, it is rare, but it can happen

Hi @Prométhée,
I stress the components to verify they are not defective.
Stress tests giving good temps and stable output suggests good airflow and reliable components. The user should experience years of reliable service from the product.
Component failure can happen , but that is the point of the test,

My configuration is made of I7-9K and an RTX 2070, the added memory is compatible and runs with the same clock
And I swapped the hp RTX2070 for an MSI Ventus RTX 3070.
link to my model -> https://support.hp.com/it-it/document/c06333005.
thank you for your attention,
