Yikes, that is the expensive way to get upgrades. Cheaper to buy it already configured the way you want it.
But the Specs Page for your model will give you the upgrade info...
Expand the items like Motherboard>Higos, Processor Upgrade Information, etc.
AMD Ryzen7-1800X (Summit Ridge) 3.6 GHz, 8 cores/16 threads
AMD Ryzen7-1700 (Summit Ridge) 3.0 GHz, 8 cores/16 threads
AMD Ryzen5-1600 (Summit Ridge) 3.2 GHz, 6 cores/12 threads
AMD Ryzen5-1400 (Summit Ridge) 3.2 GHz, 4 cores/8 threads
It can hold up to 32 GB PC4-19200 (DRR4-2400), 4 GB and 8 GB DDR4 UDIMMs memory.
It also has an M.2 NVMe slot for an SSD drive.
The video card, you will have to measure the inside of the area where the PCIe slot is for the length. Use that info when looking at cards to make sure it will fit. Also make sure your power supply has the right connectors required for it.
Let me know if you have other questions.

If the CPU can upgrade to ryzen 7 1700, would a 2700 or 2700x also work?
No, the bios has to be setup to accept it. Unless HP created a new bios with the added CPUs, it wont recognize them.
HP doesnt upgrade bios's to handle newer cpu's later on.
Best to find out the specific requirements of the individual graphics card from its manufacturer before buying.
Generally speaking, a 500w PSU can handle up to a GTX 1070 if going Nvidia.

I tried creating my own post but I didn't know how to so I am here asking for your help again. I have the 880-p0xx with ryzen 5 1400 and 1060 3 gb as stated above. What motherboard can I upgrade to since the higos motherboard is a uatx which I heard is comparable with the match but what size motherboard should I get?Since the available area in the chassis doesn't seem too big. Will I be able to fit an MSI B450M bazooka?

The form factor of the Higo is uATX so the Micro ATX Bazooka should fit.
I have no idea if the case wiring will connect without some rigging as I dont have access to one.
