@AjMaiolo , welcome to the forum.

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will tell you how to measure to determine if a card will fit into the space provided: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Upgrade-Video-Card/ta-p/7481981

Here is a card that is 9.13" x 4.88": https://www.newegg.com/msi-geforce-rtx-3070-rtx-3070-ventus-2x-oc/p/N82E16814137602?Description=nvid...

Most of the 3070 cards with 3 fans are over 12" in length.  Also, you will have to upgrade the power supply unit (PSU) to at least 850W with 2x8-pin PCIe power connectors.  The card manufacturer recommends 650W.  It is recommended to add at least 100W to 150W to that number.

Well if we compare the rated power draw of the FE GTX 1070 and FE RTX 3070 the difference is 70W, 1070 is 150W and 3070 is 220W, so considering this you can estimate if you would need to upgrade your PSU or not. The best way is to measure your current total draw with a KillAWatt tool and just add another 70W to see what would look like in the future if you replace the cards.
