Here is an HP Knowledge Base article that will help you know what to look for when upgrading your video card: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Upgrade-Video-Card/ta-p/7481981
You should pay particular attention to the length of the card and if the power supply unit (PSU) has the necessary 1x6, 8-pin or both PCIe power connectors. The PCIe power connectors will either be connected to your current video card or hanging lose in the case.
Once you know these things, let me know and I will make a recommendation for a new card.
