Hello,
I have a HP TG01-0018 Gaming Desktop with a GTX 1650 GPU, Ryzen 5 3500 CPU. A budget PC because I only run one game. Anyway, I have had it for about a year and a half now and the warranty expired back in 06/2022. I was told by Allstate, because I have another PC that I bought Allstate 2 year protection plan on Hardware and other parts of my other PC, that all HP HDD's have a 3 year warranty on them whether the warranty on the PC itself expires or not. Is this true? Because you sure can't find anything out from HP unless you subscribe to support options. Which in my case would be ridiculous to ask one question.
Any help would be appreciated, just need to know if HP covers HDD's (and any other hardware or components) that came with PC at time of shipment. Thank you in adavance!!

Hi
My thoughts on your question.
HP provides a limited OEM warranty on all components in each product.
The primary component manufacturer (HDD, SSD, graphics card, CPU, memory) usually requires proof of individual component purchase. You would not be able to produce proof of purchase for any of the individual parts in your PC.

hi
the warranty for an HP computer is one year, depending on the country
Everything in the computer is guaranteed for one year, regardless of whether the hdd is guaranteed for more than one year, from a manufacturer, for example Western digital
https://support-en.wd.com/app/Warranty_Policy
If you have subscribed to an extended warranty, there you indicate
""" I was told by Allstate, because I have another PC that I bought Allstate 2 year protection plan on Hardware and other parts of my other PC ""
it works if you have an extended warranty as well, otherwise not possible
[edit]
just one thing
if you are in Europe, you benefit from the legal guarantee, which is two years, or more
at the dealer's expense
