HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2524nf
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I receive a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2524nf with RTX 3060.

When I plug only on hdmi port, no signal received.

If I plug only on dvi port, everything works well.

If I plug on dvi and hdmi in dual display mode, everything is OK.

Why can't I just use hdmi port on single display mode ?

I try to change display configuration but nothing happens.

I need HELP please !

@kopacabana73,

Let's try the following steps:

Please make sure your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2524nf has the latest Windows/Drivers updates installed.  In addition, make sure that your HDMI cable is not defective, including checking that the little pins are all lined up correctly.

Then: uninstall your graphics software -presumably Nvidia's Geforce Experience. Download the freeware Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from here and run: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html.

Now download Nvidia's GeForce Experience from here and install: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/download/.

Restart your desktop.

Next: follow these troubleshooting steps, especially Option / Method 3: https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/hdmi-port-not-working-solved/.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Thanks a lot. I find a solution with your recommandations. I unplug all (screen, mouse, keyboard) and if I after 5 minutes I plug all, I start the PC and 5 seconds later I start screen, the screen is well recognized. I need start PC before screen otherwise there's no detection and black screen.
