HP 24X gaming 24" 144 hz 1 ms
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I just bought an HP 24X gaming monitor second-hand, that's supposed to support 144 hz. I changed the settings, updated my graphics card's drivers, but still, I can tell that even when I picked "144 hz" and the settings say that it's set to 144 hz, it's at 60 hz... I'm using an HDMI because the DisplayPort doesn't recognize that it's plugged in, which is weird. How should I start solving this problem?

The product still has warranty left.
Thank you in advance.

What is the version of your HDMI cable ? What is your machine. Please note: resolution goes up refresh rates will go down and vice versa

Regards.

I have no idea... How can I check the version of my HDMI cable? It's quite new though.
I have a custom PC, what do you need to know? I've got a Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card 🙂
